Paper And Piecings

Paper And Piecings offers digital downloads of scrapbooking paper peicing patterns, created to work with Cricut and other cutting machines.

Project involved creation of a process to easily convert physical drawings to vector graphics in multiple formats compatible with various cutting machines. This was streamlined and laid out so it could be quickly used by people who are not necessary computer savvy.

The website was created to allow instant digital download of the files, once payment was received. It also includes a backend for the end user to easily add additional files into the system and manage existing ones.

Additionally, a mailing list was created and maintained to stay in contact with existing customers, and develop relationships with potential ones. These emails included tips and periodically, free patters.

Fish Fun Folk Festival

The Fish Fun & Folk Festival takes place annually during the last full weekend in July at Twillingate, Newfoundland, Canada, and is one of the largest and longest running folk festivals in the Province of Newfoundland. With many of the visitors to the Festival being from out of town, province or even country, having a well constructed and up to date website is of utmost importance to them.

Project involved updating an existing website to modern design both graphically and structurally. Extreme care was taken to preserve existing content, and redirect pages which were replaced.

Updated version of their existing mascot was also created and utilized. Maintenance for the site is ongoing, and frequently often requires addressing varies concerns or approvals from a committee.

Whitsha Inn Bed & Breakfast

The Whitsha Inn is a luxury Bed & Breakfast, nestled within the beautiful shoreline of Twillingate, Newfoundland.

Creation process involved meeting with client and offering several possible designs as a starting point for their website. From there the necessary sections were mapped out and decided upon.

Content and copy writing was created for the site, and appropriate images were sourced from a local photographer.

Initial link building was done to ensure the business was included in several relevant tourism resources and efforts were made to ensure there is a high ranking Google local Business Listing.

gameSniped is a blog that showcases obscure and rare collectible video game items. In addition to graphic and logo design, we maintain and optimize the backend of the heavily trafficked site on an ongoing basis. We also continue to offer content creation and editing services.

Site launch was conducted through targeted advertising and social media marketing. This includes sites such as Reddit and Digg, where articles have previosuly made the front page.

Currently, the site is widely known in the gaming field and the content frequently gets syndicated by larger more generalized gaming sites. Mighty Muggs Forum

Mighty Muggs are a highly collectible toy line released by Hasbro over the past several years. In establishing a forum, we launched an extensive network of sites dedication to individual lines of the toys (Star Wars, Marvel, etc.) for the purpose of channeling traffic into the forum and well as gaining first place rankings for the relevant search terms. The site has gone on to become the foremost community and authority for Muggs.

A primary obstacle in creation of the site was the existence of an established competitor within the niche. With heavy marketing, as well as an initial forum jump start involving contests and other initiatives, we were able to attract new users and then retain their membership. The other site has since become obsolete, while the MMF is still running strong with over 4,000 members.
